India requires to setup 46,000 Charging stations by 2030, by adding every year 5,000 new public charging station to full fill a ‘base scenario’ .There is tremendous growth ahead as Ev penetration in India , as Electric Vehicles had now pick the trend and momentum, presently 286% annual growth.

Total Electric Vehicle on Indian Road 1.5 Million out of which 50,000 Electric Cars. The Government data as on 2.8.2022 shows 1.4 million Ev, Excluding 3 states data. The concern  of Business setup Public charging station is for the all type electric Vehicles on Highway commuting  and Public transport Ev Within city.

To know the numbers of Electric Vehicles Running on Highway : First of all one have to go through recorded data available on Toll plaza  between any stretch of Highway connection major cities distancing between 200 to 300 KM. There is practically much need of  Fast charging on Highway, as per Statisca , Bloomberg NEF survey report in US & Europe  95% Ev Car on highway transit will needs/ visits at Fast charging statin on the way.(Indian perspective could be 90%) .Electric vehicle 80 %  out of such 90% Ev will need juice-up  by service of Charging  on Highway will be from Small & Mid segment Ev (20 Kwh to 55 kwh) to visit at Highway . Micro ev car will be rare to commute & visit on Highway PCS(≈5%). While Upper & High end Ev Car are less in number & prone to Visit on Highway PCS( ≈15%)

The Ratio of Fast charging availability to Ev Car present in India is is very less . Currently, the EV/public charger ratio is 6 both for China and the Netherlands; 19 for the U.S., while it stands 135 for India—which means there is one charger per 135 EVs in India. If we exclude the Electric Auto most of them in capable to accept fast charging. Still as compared to other Europe and china & USA we have very less number of Public Charging stations . However India needs at least approximately 10,000 new public chargers to full fill a ‘base scenario’ by every year from year 2022  to reach at a position to filfil the match  for 100 EVs. India currently has 2,826 public charging stations that are operational in the country.
