How much cost of set up EV charging station in India

It varies Rs. One Lacs to 25 Lacs. Setting up cost of Ev Public Charging Station in India start with Rs. One Lacs to 25 Lacs. But Rs. 1 Lacs level charging station is not a Charging Station Business at all. The slow AC charger is just a symbolic for showing its presence for EV Charging, good for complimentary services at existing business place where visitors can juice up EV car . herein we are describing few level of Charging station, based on Setup cost. Although Public charging station are categories as per their Level of charging like Fast, Moderate or Slow charging. Still cost wise categories for different Business model , for earning ,capability & servicing ability to the Electric vehicles.
Rs 1 Lcas Cost Charging station: at this cost level, only Simple AC slow Charger of 7.4 Kwh with associated Cables and switch gears only. Even No approval is required from Government. In fact this level is NOT a charging Station Business at all. In whole day the profit portion may be just around ( 3x 7×10 =210 Rs only) .This even not be able to recover one attending personal ‘s partial salary. But this level of charging is good for complimentary services for the establishment who have already their another supplementary business such as Stores, small hotels , food shop , where Cars are parked for the visitors.

Rs 2.5 Lcas Cost Charging station : Start with AC Charger 11 Kwh Middle level . The Revenue Model: poor , Operability be associated with existing business, either supplementary or complimentary nature. .Vision servicing to the existing customer of pre existing business like Hotel , Stores, Tourist Hub, club , Office & Plza. Good for the establishment who have already their another supplementary business where Cars are parked for the visitors.
Rs 15 Lcas Cost Charging station : Either 25 Kwh or 30 Kwh DC Fast charger can be deployed at this level of charging station. Still we recommends 30 Kwh Dc Fast charger is good enough for Mid Size Ev Cars ar present year 2022. The 25 Kwh DC Fast charger can not Juice up All Mid Size Electric Car present in India of all specification . Electric cars like Tata Nexon Max, Hyundai Kona, MG e-ZS all can be Charged by 30 Kwh Fast chargers. Only One Ev Car can be charged at a one time, by connecting Gun of CCS-2 Type . Moderate level of Power management Equipment are required for this Level, also approval of full fledged level of Power connection from the DISCOM. New startup should not make all arrangement of like internet based booking and other facility at this level, because the cost recovery ratio will not met out for the Turn over generated by this level. This level of charging stations is good for start up but limited turnover, even by running 18 hour daily.
Rs 25 Lcas Cost Charging station: A Full-fledged Fast Charging station is start with Rs 25 Lcas in rral term at start level Public Charging station. Either 50 or 60 Kwh DC Fast charger may be deployed at such charging station. As per our TechFin Efficacy Analysis , we recommends deployment of various specs Kwh DCFC with Two No. Dynamic- supply chord ,depend on different locations . The 50 Kwh DC Fast charger is good enough for Mid Size Ev Cars (year 2022). But 50 Kwh DC Fast charger can not Juice up all Higher specs of EV cars Like Merc EQC or Audi E- tron , Jaguar I –Pace, But this can do easily Mid Size Electric Car (at present in India ) like Tata Nexon Max, Hyundai Kona, MG e-ZS, all can be Charged by 50 Kwh Fast chargers. We recommends different DCFC with Two charging Gun of CCS-2 Type not static but dynamic supply .
Why the Guidance of any Expert required: New startup should not just make arrangement with the vendors or suppliers of DC fast chargers ,as their focus is only on sale of their product rather to make all efficacy system to be adopted. The suppliers of Fast chargers deploy DCFC & provisioning just copy-paste system of installation. while Full fledged level public charging station requires Tech fin Efficacy test, Power management Equipment , even Power storage System ( PSS) or Solar car Port is also recommended. Full-fledge approval required from the DISCOM , also more cost link variable level of Power connection. Although vendors /supplier may present themselves as best guide , but fact is that they have only expertise in production or selling & installing, but not expert in analytics for long term Vision. Only we can Guide you right from the beginning , set up strategies adoption ,installation till to achieve operational efficiency. By virtue of such strategies ,decision are taken for Power Management Equipment (PME) ,provision laying for future expansion. If such strategies are not adopted, there are every & very chances to become loss making station for the want of improper operational efficient.
