Indian Vehicle market sale is 16 Million in 2022 with double digit growth rate To make equal growth supply of fuel to such growing number vehicles , there is need of more fuel station( Petrol pump ).  So keeping services of filling requirement ,Government giving franchise and opening more fuel stations. There is another side of coin is also….

Government promoting Electric vehicle for clean environment  and lesser carbon foot print from Mobility. By bringing clean mobility , Hydrogen and electric vehicles are comes at priority level . To shift from ICE vehicle to Pollution free vehicle can not be made in day one. Change over/ shifting one system to another takes time. Also  present running & older ICE Vehicles will also have to serve with growing pace of sold. People are not shifting very quickly, as Electric vehicles are costly as compare to the ICE model of same vehicle. Although Government giving subsidies and other soap to promote Ev . Manufacturer are also trying  to make cheaper by bringing  Battery  cost (major  component of Ev) at lower side.

Present Electric vehicle Growth rate is more than 200%  in electric vehicle segment. But this higher % is because of Lower base. Once Electric vehicle becomes equal value of same ICE model of vehicle. Then the growth will shift faster towards electric vehicle. Then growth in petrol pump will be no more oppositely they start deployment more Charging  machine at existing fuel station. Same scene happened in engine development, as all major international car manufacturer had stopped working on new research and development of ICE engine. Car manufacturer now working only new research on electric vehicles only.

Present time is transit phase so both petrol pump and charging station will keep growing till the Electric vehicle adoption become faster then the existing ICE vehicles. All the Fossil fuel station have started to induct the Chagrining machine. By this ,they will have to keep survive from the shifting model .All petrol Pump will keep on converting into charging station in future .As remaining old vehicle will need Fuels at such stations and also Charging facility  for the Electric vehicles. Once the charging time become the lower till 5 to 10 Minutes then  adoption of Petrol pump will be suitable for the electric vehicles. As right now they lacks eating and resting facility at their fuel stations ,which is most requirement of the Charging station at present for 45 Charging time and also eating time  matching concept.
